June Bloom Lavender

Owner Melissa, aka The Lavender Lady, started farming six years ago, and first sold at our market four years ago (when it was the Vandenberg Village Market). At the time, she had a full-time job and took time away, but returned as a steady vendor two years ago. In March 2021, she formed an official business, and has resigned that “day job” to devote herself to farming lavender and crafting products.

Among her products are lavender candles, sachets, eye pillows, oil, scrunchies, tea, body scrub, bundles, aromatherapy cards, lemonade, brownie mix, hot chocolate mix, wreaths, salt and sugar. She sources her lavender from three farms that contain 500 plants. Two are in Buellton and one in Lompoc. She hopes to open two of them for ag tourism within the year.

California Sister Creations

California Sister Creations was started as a craft business by KC and Nikki Ochoa. They started making memory bears, made from their grandmother’s clothes.

Then, in January of 2020, KC discovered she had multiple food allergies, including gluten, dairy, wheat, eggs, and bananas. So she and Nikki started to develop new recipes and adapt to these new lifestyle changes.

They started to make delicious gluten-free, vegan desserts for friends and family, but the demand for their baked goods continued to grow. This sparked an idea and a change in their business.

Nikki runs the market booth, where they continue to sell fresh baked goods and hand crafted items.

Rocking Chair Farms

Rocking Chair Farms is based in Kingsburg located in the San Joaquin Valley. Proudly family-owned and managed, since 1985 the company has offered stone fruits, table grapes, walnuts and almonds. Each week, they offer delicious, tree-ripened fruit based on what’s in season.

Wolfe Family Farms

Husband and wife Julian and Marissa Wolfe have been in business since February 2019. They grow artisanal mushrooms: shiitake, blue oyster, black oyster, yellow oyster, king oyster, lion’s mane and pink oyster. Their weekly selection varies, depending on the warm of the season — warmer weather brings out the more tropical mushrooms, such and pink and yellow oyster. Wolfe Family Farms’ climate-controlled cultivation chamber is located in Solvang.
